$14,822.00 RAISED AT SYRACUSE SUMMER CONCERTS

Tigris Shriners & Ziyara Shriners Raise Money for Shriners Hospitals for Children at Lakeview Amphitheater Concerts

(9/26/2018 – Syracuse, N.Y.) – The Tigris Shrine, Syracuse, N.Y., a chapter of Shriners International has raised $14,822.00 in support of Shriners Hospitals for Children during several concerts this past summer at St. Joseph’s Health Amphitheater at Lakeview in partnership with the Rock-It Kids program.

Volunteers from Tigris Shriners, Syracuse, N.Y., and Ziyara Shriners, Utica, N.Y., worked several concerts this past summer to raise the total amount.  The money is raised by selling the CDs at each concert.

  • 6/19/2018 – Foreigner – $1,185.00 raised (237 CDs sold)
  • 7/10/2018 – Roger Daltrey – $798.00 raised (203 CDs sold)
  • 8/24/2018 – Lynyrd Skynyrd – $7,515 raised (1450 CDs sold)
  • 8/24/2018 – Breaking Benjamin with Five Finger Death Punch – $1362.00 raised (278 CDs sold)
  • 9/14/2018 – Kid Rock – $3962.00 raised (1332 CDs sold)

The total raised was $14,822.00.

The Rock-It Kids program works with concert promoters nationwide to sell performers’ CDs at their shows, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Shriners Hospitals. Sales at the concerts are staffed by local Shriners and their families who volunteer their time.
